Upcoming plan for World Series of Poker 2023
The World Series of Poker (WSOP) is set to make its grand return this summer, with the highly anticipated poker series scheduled to take place from May 30 to July 18, 2023. This year's event will be held at Horseshoe Las Vegas and Paris Las Vegas, marking the series' largest capacity in WSOP history, with 608 tables spread across over 18,000 square meters.
Kicking off the series will be the $500 casino employee tournament, along with the High Roller event with a $25,000 buy-in. The first week of the series will feature a variety of mixed games, including Dealer's Choice, Seven-Card Razz, Mixed No-Limit Hold'em - Pot-Limit Omaha, and new events Big O and Badugi.
The WSOP 2023 will also see 20 bracelet champions determined online on WSOP.com for New Jersey and Nevada residents, with an additional 7 for players in Pennsylvania and Michigan. PokerOK, the world's largest poker room and exclusive WSOP partner, will award 500 guaranteed seats to the Main Event through satellites.
One of the most anticipated events of the series, the Main Event, will have 4 starting days, with the first day set for July 3 (Event #76). The champion of the Main Event will be crowned within two days, with the final table taking place on July 16 and 17.
The Tournament of Champions, traditionally held at the end of the series, will take place at the beginning of WSOP 2023. For those interested in the complete WSOP 2023 schedule, it can be found on the official WSOP website.
Last year's series saw a record-breaking 197,626 participants from over 100 countries and a prize pool of $347.9 million. A total of 95 bracelets were awarded over the course of seven weeks.

I'm playing poker in the casino-and-gambling environment, specifically at a casino-game table set up for poker. This particular poker game could potentially be at the World Series of Poker (WSOP) event, given the context of the return of the WSOP series and its expanded capacity this summer.
