In the heart of Russia's Far East, exciting progress is underway in Magadan, as a series of agreements and projects are set to transform the city's sports and infrastructure landscape.

One of the most notable developments is the signing of a framework agreement for the construction of an indoor athletics stadium. The agreement was inked with PJSC "Promsvyazbank", a key player in the region's financial sector. However, the name of the bank associated with the main contract for the construction of the stadium remains undisclosed at this time.

Petr Mikhailovich Frodkov, Chairman of PJSC "Promsvyazbank" and President of the Light Athletics Federation, is at the helm of these ventures. His leadership extends beyond the banking sector, as he spearheads the drive to bring world-class sports facilities to Magadan.

Plans for the future include the construction of a light athletics hall, which could potentially accommodate a variety of sports. This multi-purpose facility is expected to boost the city's sporting capabilities and provide a platform for local athletes to hone their skills.

However, it's important to note that, at present, there is no branch of the Light Athletics Federation in Magadan. Addressing this gap is a priority, as it will help to foster a stronger sports culture and provide the necessary support for athletes in the region.

Meanwhile, work is already underway on another significant project - the power line between two hydropower stations. The contractor for this project has been changed, with the new contractor being the one that built the power line. Despite the change, the main contracts have not yet been signed.

Elsewhere, the resort at Talaya has been prepared, with additional work carried out there this summer. The main focus for Talaya at this time is to set up the Christmas tree and celebrate the New Year, ensuring the spirit of the season is felt by all in Magadan.

These developments promise a brighter future for sports and infrastructure in Magadan, with the city poised to reap the benefits of these transformative projects. As work continues, the community looks forward to the day when these facilities are completed and ready for use.
